Payment Processing & KYC Requirements
Supported Methods: Researchers can receive their bounty awards PayPal, or Payoneer. To process these payments and perform necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) checks, Inspectiv specifically utilizes the services mentioned above.
Required Information: Before a payout can be collected, Inspectiv may require researchers to verify their identity to prevent fraud.
Taxes: Researchers are solely responsible for all taxes related to their bounty awards.
Payout Timing & Frequency
Standard Timeline: Inspectiv typically makes the bounty award available to the researcher on the following Friday after the submission has been accepted.
Delays: Inspectiv will not be held liable for any delay or failure to pay out a bounty if the cause is beyond our reasonable control.
Award Determination & Multipliers
Creation Date Rule: The final payment tier and award amount are strictly determined based on the submission's creation date.
Bonus Bounties: Because the creation date locks in the payout, any report submitted during an active double or extra bounty period is fully guaranteed to qualify for that promotional award, even if the report is accepted after the promotional period ends. If a submission happens to be accepted during an active double/extra bounty campaign, it will be honored, even if it was submitted outside of the campaign date.
Payment Corrections & Disputes
Dispute Adjustments: If a researcher wins a severity dispute and the bounty is increased, Inspectiv will issue an additional transaction to pay out the difference.
Restricted Payees
Ineligible Persons: Inspectiv does not provide awards to any person who is identified on, employed by, or associated with entities listed on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Denied Persons or Entity List, the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals or Blocked Persons Lists, or the U.S. Department of State’s Debarred Parties List.
